No one was ever forbidden to say Merry Christmas and Corey goddamn knows it. So sick of this stupid bullshit. It’s simple. You want to say Merry Christmas to someone like me who celebrates Christmas, I thank you but there are other holidays this time of year too hence Happy Holidays. The constant whining about this really puts a damper on an otherwise joyful time of year.

You know what, I’m an atheist, raised Jewish, and people have been saying Merry Christmas to me for fucking ever. Why, just today, three different people said it (one lady told me to have a blessed holiday season as well.) I get the “have a blessed day” at about every store I shop in. (it is, after all, south by dog carolina.) I’m not offended, I’m not upset, I’m not fucking anything. (I do roll my eyes at all the blessing, but what are ya gonna do?)

It is just the stupidest, most unimportant bit of bullshit of all time. Retailers changed to Happy Holidays for their financial benefit. Period. Paragraph.
