I found myself earlier thinking that what the DNC should do now that Trumpcare has failed is latch on to the sudden boost in good favor Obamacare is enjoying to push for reforming it. Don’t overreach by broaching single payer or Medicare-for-all, save that for the midterms next year. Instead, get out there and say if the GOP feels the law has serious problems, then the DNC is open to fixing them. And when the GOP inevitably balks at such a suggestion, point out that both parties agree that these problems exist, but the GOP would rather millions of Americans suffer than fix them.

I’ve heard numerous quotes from Dems saying exactly that in the past couple of days.
