I saw it as more frustration that he thinks the Dems could have won that mayoral race if they had put more national money into it. He may be right about that but I was trying to point out to him that retaining VA’s governorship and flipping NJ’s is a much bigger priority for them. And I know that comes off snobby but you know what, it’s snobby to treat everyone in a blue state like they’re a fat cat who only has social issues to worry about and not other issues too.

Not that they needed national money; they needed Dems who issued public opinions to stop the purity whining, STFU about they can’t support him because he’s not liberal enough, and just say “that’s as liberal as Nebraska offers; he’s a better choice than the R.”
