That reminds me that I just heard a story about the imminent disappearance of eggnog — manufacturers only make it around the holidays, so fans will have to do without. I guess food preparation really is mostly dead.

I found that to be true when I made shrimp cocktail and my guests were amazed that I actually made the cocktail sauce. I’m like, yeah, it’s ketchup, horseradish, and lemon juice, and they are Wow! Impressed!
