I am a farmer. My farm operation is fairly high value, but nowhere near $10 million.
Still…farm bureau, extension service, and every single farm association I’ve been associated with for several decades have stressed the importance of estate planning over and over.
If you don’t make the effort, you’re just lazy and you really don’t give a rat’s ass about your farm operation and your survivors.

This is true regardless of the nature of your estate. I haven’t quite gotten around to it yet, but you’re damn right I’m going to. You’re right about that last part, especially - if you don’t bother to think about it, it means you aren’t really thinking about what, or whom, you’re leaving behind. You can’t take it with you.
