And it’s not just the “insults” themselves or that he’s being generally obnoxious and indiscriminate: it’s that he always manages to insult people who happened to say something bad about him. The insult is never really about anything objectively policy-related. It’s just a response to criticism of him. It’s something most of us grew out of sometime during our first three years of elementary education, if not before.
