That’s tremendously sad to me. But I also know that this is true of the vast majority of rural churches across America. I am lucky in that I found a church that is realistic and modern.

I’m sure she’d love to Webcast an Easter service (or any service) if she could, but the realities of the cost of Internet service here preclude that. Even if the church or she had Internet service, no one in town has it in their homes besides me.

On the third hand, everyone here knows everyone else. The town is small enough she can provide pastoral service and religious counsel personally to anyone in town or in the rural area around us.
