So every year I tell myself I’ll get it done early, and every year I leave my taxes to the last minute. But now after three hours of hunting, I’ve chased down all the forms and documentation and updated the spreadsheet I use for calculations. Nothing left to do but the math and (shudder) the capital gains worksheet. Rough calculations suggest that I’ll owe little.

I’d resolve to do it early next year, but that’s never worked before.

I do mine superbowl weekend and say that everyone is celebrating my finishing them.
