I seem to remember genocidal Guatemalan dictator Efraín Ríos Montt being associated with Garner Ted’s gang. Wikipedia gives the “Jesus People” Gospel Outreach Church of Humboldt CA as his affiliation, however. Jerry Falwell the 1st and Pat Robertson were friends and supporters, which could well have had something to do with the Reagan administration’s notably tolerant attitude toward Ríos Montt’s massacres and other atrocities.
