Just because mismanagement over the years and changing tastes ran Hostess (formerly known as Interstate Brands) into the ground for good (sorry, “free-market” wingnuts…you can’t pin the blame on their unions for this) doesn’t mean that some of the more popular Hostess marques won’t survive. I’m sure that Grupo Bimbo might snatch some of them up; they’ve been making a big splash in the American market over the past few years, taking over Sara Lee’s bakery operations a while back.
