Well, it’s even more basic than this. One, don’t use stupid inflammatory stuff like the Chavez, Che, Castro poster. It doesn’t appeal to Hispanics. Two, remember that the countries Hispanics came from are often class stratified, with wealthy families in cahoots with the government to keep themselves wealthy at the expense of the poor. Which means that ANY policy that holds the poor down are not going to be a winner with Hispanics.

Yes, and the “American Dream” they (and most other immigrants) have come to pursue is not living free off welfare and handouts, it’s about working hard and educating their kids so they can get better jobs and climb up the social ladder.
Creating a system where education costs more and more while jobs are paying less and less is making a mockery of the dream they have come to pursue and pisses a lof of people off.
