The only exception I can think of is something like one of the Alaskan cruises up the inland passage. Otherwise it does indeed sound terminally boring.

In tropical areas…I don’t get it. I’d rather take a flight to a place and enjoy the location.

Buddy who retired went on an Alaskan cruise. Now that’s something I’d do because he brought back some spectacular pictures. I think that’s more suited to living on a floating city than doing it in a tropical area. Never got the appeal of it.
