Israel doesn’t need these allies, I believe. Even if the leaders of these parties said they are pro-Israel, their long and rooted history of antisemitism can’t be covered with a few statements. They simply found the way to legitimize themselves and whitewash their history.

You could be right. They’ll just stick with VB spin. But I still think responding to Mr Bawer will show that they are indeed the people he’s discussing in this piece. They might as well though- they’re all on record as supporting VB. They have no problem trashing Charles, so why not trash Mr Bawer too.
