It’s as if you hacked a e-mail from me bitching about someone installing a wrong valve spring in one of my Studebakers. Did I later replace it with the correct one, or did the wrong one work just fine ? It may be a unknowable fact.

Can you not see that the credibility of the mechanic, who repeatedly installed wrong valve springs for many years, had been significantly compromised?
