His lawyer might take his money, but I guarantee you there’s going to be a long conversation about how he brought this on himself. You just can’t say that kind of thing to a reporter who’s writing a story on you and expect that they aren’t going to touch it.

Greg Howard didn’t accuse him of shitting on the floor, he just reported the allegation after Chuck made the inexplicable, incredibly unwise decision to pre-emptively deny it out of the blue. That’s exactly the kind of thing a floor shitter would do, so it would have been irresponsible for Howard not to wonder openly if it actually did happen.
