If it gets transferred to California that would be really bad news for Chuck; CA has the toughest anti-SLAPP statute in the country, and it was made for lawsuits like this one. It’s very probable Chuck would be forced to pay all of Gawker’s legal fees, which have to be in six figures by now.

Couldn’t Chuckles declare bankruptcy, or are court judgements non-dischargeable debts? (I honestly don’t know…..)
