As for using leaves, I imagine anyone who’s been camping a lot has probably done it more than once. Watch out for poison ivy though (I wouldn’t know about that).

I once brushed a bit of poison oak on the hem of my shorts while hiking in AZ…it was not bad, but I later spilled a glass of wine all over it, which dissolved the poison oak and spread it everywhere…walked bow-legged for a week.
