I’m not going to lie, I was very upset in the wake of the election that Kaepernick didn’t even vote. I even referred to him as a “piece of shit” for refusing to do his civic duty then.

I still defended his right to protest, but I was flabbergasted that he would not even vote in such an important election of our lifetimes.

But it was my anger that was boiling upon Trump’s win that got the most of me, sadly.

Well you weren’t telling him that he didn’t have a right to protest like so many have. I disagreed with that position too. Glad Hank, who experienced his share of racism for daring to break a record by a white man is defending him.
