I noted Highpoint Church Memphis hadn’t removed Andy Savage as the “teaching pastor” even though he is currently on four months’ leave while they let the heat die down *cough* investigate. I posted a tweet and Hemant Mehta of Friendly Atheist picked it up.

I remarked that the executive pastor (a guy named Chris Conlee, who tried to become a golf pro before he went into the church business) should just tell me when Savage is coming back so I can buy my airplane tickets now.
Oh, and yes, it does turn out that the softball interview Savage had with his good buddy Ben Ferguson last Thursday was edited. But they didn’t remove the “organic sexual experience” part. (I have to stop rolling my eyes, they are eventually going to pop out of my head.) Here’s a link to the stuff that was cut out of the interview:
