Baseball has been a game for cheaters and thugs since it began. The Astros were no different than dozens of other teams in the past. The pretence of baseball being something pure that they fouled is hilarious.

On sports in general:
Nothing’s pure. Especially not the Olympics. The past 50 years of the Games were known for bankrupting the cities that hosted them, and not least for destroying and demolishing the concept of pure “uncommercial” sport. (While the organizers looted the treasuries…)

I wonder, in passing, if anyone on the Astros got sick with typhus. That was usually a thing in the early days of the last century of professional baseball.
