I could only imagine visiting on site. Their web pages are extensive and cover everything related to the USA from A to Z. Another good one is The National Archives.

Can you believe I’ve never been to D.C.?? Unless you count a stop at the Greyhound Bus terminal years ago.

I’m sure you could spend days, shoot make that months, poking around in the LOC. I especially love the image archives.
