The law basically says unions can no longer automatically deduct funds from members’ paychecks, and new employees at union houses don’t have to join the union. It’s a death knell for unions, and means an end to collective bargaining, though no company would ever dream of reducing costs or increasing profits by screwing their workers and lowering their salaries.

I don’t understand why they can’t if the employee signs a form stating they can.
