Despised them, and Hanna-Barbera stuff in general. Fathers were stereotypically stupid and deceptive, women were manipulative and materialistic.
That may be true, but I look at it through the lens of the times (and its social norms and stereotypes) that The Flintstones was created in; it was more or less an animated version of The Honeymooners, set in the Stone Age.
I still enjoy them every now and then if I’m channel surfing.
