Though my signature drink is one I called a vampire bite - which I made up fro my then GF who was wayyy into Anne Rice.

Shake and Strain
1 pt Dark Rum,
1 pt Chambord
1/2 pt sour mix
1/2 pt pineapple juice
juice of a lime wedge
grenadine for color.

If you mix it right it will be blood red and it will be very smooth and not too sweet.
