Two years ago, with a former employer, there was a slim possibility that I’d be sent to a semiconductor fab (mfg plant) in China for a week or two.

When the topic came up, I went poker-faced and started brainstorming options.

/contracting leprosy … getting kidnapped by the mob … et cetera … :D

We have a fab in China, I’ve avoided going twice.
