Actually, re-read the third paragraph in the screengrab. There’s a ray of light in that dungheap of derp. Find a democrat who can push that kind of populism and LINK it to anti-racism instead of the opposite (I can’t find it now, which is terribly frustrating, but I could’ve sworn there was a quote from Martin Luther King, aimed at the infamous WWC, to the effect of, “we’re marching for you too” - see these signs for what that looks like)
And no, I don’t buy Bouie’s implication in the tweet that those Dems are seen as different from Obama due to skin color alone. HRC was white, and fat lot of good it did her. Plus TPP, which those voters hated and Obama created :/
