Because he was pressured to be ‘bipartisan’ and have a ‘Cabinet of Rivals’, have a Republican perspective, etc. Something Obama clearly took to heart as a matter of principle initially, and that got him taken advantage of time, and time, and time a-fucking-gain. Because bipartisanship only runs one direction in this country.

Edited to add: ‘Republican perspective’ is a good one these days. What perspective would that be? That their Lord and Master Satan unfairly got bad press in that War with Heaven affair?
