I’m also going to go out on a limb and guess Mrs. K also found out some shit about her hubby she didn’t know til recently. I hope she and the girls can find a way to be safe, somewhere they can get away from him.

I agree. His behavior at the hearings revealed a lot about his personality and temperament. Being his law clerk must not be a fun job at all, because he probably throws temper tantrums in the office, too. And Mrs K probably knew he was lying to the Senators.

I’m not sure how Catholic Mrs K is, so I don’t know if divorce is within the realm of possibilities open to her. Even if she could contemplate it, she’d be under a lot of pressure not to embarrass her asshole husband, an Associate Justice, by dumping him.

I also presume he still drinks to excess, maybe with finer stuff than cheap beer, and manages only to appear sober when in public.
