That’s not my question. You’re answering what. I’m asking why. There’s nothing about Putin that suggests he’s a champion against unregulated capitalism or imperialism. Tulsi and Sanders are useful idiots to be sure but what I’m stumped as to is why.

He stands up to Western Corporate interests with his own version of crony plutocracy. Why that makes him a hero to the anti-capitalists also astounds me, but I cannot get over how many Putinverstehers there are out there.

And the GOP would love to implement his system of economy and government, only difference being that it would be a Protestant Fundamentalist theocracy instead of a Russian Orthodox one…
