Her child is a non-verbal two year-old with autism.

Frankly I don’t understand why any parent would put their child in the hands of any church.

My sister put her two kids into a cooperative daycare hosted at a church because NO OTHER DAYCARE would take two kids with febrile seizure syndrome. It worked out fine, except for the younger kid telling a teacher that it was fine if he peed in the bushes because “mom lets me do it at home”. Mom was all NOPE.
