re: #765 MandyManners
For ages, when I log onto the Internet my Spy Sweeper thingy has a box pop up that says:
C:Program Files/AOL 9.0waol.exe is trying to change your Internet Explorer security setting for this Web site:
objects.aolThen, a little box pops up and gives me the choice to manually block the change. Then, another little box pops up that says:
Progs should not change your Internet Explorer security settings. For your security, we reccommend that you run a full sweep to remove any remnants of C:Program FilesAOL 9.0waol.exe.
What does this mean? Should I run that sweep?
It’s telling you that AOL is a virus. Yes, run the sweep. You stopped using the for-shit AOL browser, didn’t you?
