Unfortunately, Flynn is never going be indicted under the Logan Act. It’s never been enforced and there’s no precedent for it. It’s a relic from another time. We’re in a world of hurt, with no safe refuge and no laws to guide us.

About the best we can hope for is that the stink gets so heavy that he’s forced to resign. But even that assumes that the media doesn’t just find a new shiny thing and move on.
