This week’s episode of Star Trek: Prodigy is pretty good. They could have done better with the voice recordings of Nemoy’s Spock.

Nimoy’s voice changed a lot as he aged. To my ears, it started to become apparent in 1991 with his appearance in “Unification” and THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY. By 2009, at age 78, his voice and delivery was really sounding off. If you use audioclips from across the franchise and splice them together, Spock’s voice is not going to sound consistent from line to line.
