I don’t have a problem with any private citizen flying someone (Wife, girlfriend, etc.) to NYC on a date, as long as they are paying for it on their own account. But when any elected official, including the President of the United States, does it with the taxpayer’s money, then I would have to object.

So if you are elected POTUS and you want to fly home, you should pay the cost for a 747, and all the security ? Crap, Bush owes us millions for trips to the ranch then.
