Ayep, in a year or so we’ll be told about how deportation numbers have skyrocketed and this is a “good” thing because the number represents all those “criminal aliens” that we’ve been told for years were running rampant in this country. It’s the scoreboard effect, so long as they get a point on the board, they couldn’t give a shit less what the real world effect of such is.

And the very next story will be about mass loss of produce due to there being NO ONE AROUND TO DO THE PICKING.
