As for the Red Cross, I’m sorry to hear that you ran across someone who’s a bad apple. For what it’s worth, mr. klys and I were out to eat the other week and chatted with the bartender, only to discover that her house burned down earlier this month. She had nothing but good to say about the local Red Cross stepping in to provide emergency housing for them.

We left a really nice tip, too.
