What is grinding me over his statement is that WOMEN put his ass over the top to win the election. And then his first shot outa the gate says we’re a distraction and it’s time to deal with some actually important issues, using the exact same phrasing as any GOPer. He added to it with saying hey, voters put Trump in office anyway so it’s not an issue for him NOW.

Yeah, I think he stuck his foot in it big and lost a lot of respect he had walking in that door. Still glad he won and it takes nothing from the Democratic party that won that seat. It remains an amazing and historical win that should be celebrated bigly.
