I mean, I listened to the Katy Tur interview tonight all the way through, a couple nights ago I listened to the one with Michelle Wallace, I even dealt with Maggie fucking Haberman. I think we all know I have goddamned anger issues and don’t deal well when confronted with milquetoast pieces of shit, but Flake is the only motherfucker I had to bail out on lest I start screaming in public. My blood pressure just spiked thirty points thinking about it.

To be perfectly clear I actually meant the Nicole Wallace interview, because, again, I’m slightly drunk. Also I think she is the the only one of those I listed above who was genuinely honest about themselves. What I really liked was despite personally knowing and deeply liking Kavanaugh, Wallace said she found Ford 100% credible and said she felt it was impossible to know what to think about the nomination without a full FBI investigation. Added to that, she’s the only one of Preet’s guests that I mentioned above who I actually felt had a soul. So it’s fairly easy for me to look beyond her past in the Bush administration, and the accompanying deep misgivings that past generates about her associations and her ability to judge character, and feel like deep down she’s still a good person.
