I think we’ve had this conversation around here before, but I always feel like the obvious argument against intelligent design (or creationism more generally) is that humans are actually piss poorly designed. Brittle bones, easily punctured skin, an immune system that will turn against itself, reproduction and waste disposal using the same parts, vision is poor and always failing, bad hearing, bad sense of smell, only two sets of teeth for a life time (which don’t even all fit), slow, not particularly strong… like that gets a failing most design classes.

Intelligent design was never intended to actually make sense. It’s bullshit dressed up in vaguely scientific language - deliberately deceptive, thinly disguised creationism.
