A pardon won’t get Donnie et al out of hot water in NY State.

They’ll burn that bridge when they get to it. While Biden and/or Congressional Dems couldn’t order NYS to make the state/local charges “go away,” it’s possible that they could hinder or even kneecap such by revoking federal support of the investigations. Or apply pressure to accept guilty pleas in exchange for light sentences that don’t include jail time.
