Or how about changing the “recent pages” list to a list of the 10 or so people that recently posted pages. Each poser listed could have a few of their page titles shown by default with a arrow to expand the list of their posts.

Or just the most recent one from each of the 10 most recent Page posters. They can chase their own off the list.
