re: #781 Aceofwhat?

Bullshit. Scalia correctly points out why Plessy was wrongly decided in light of the 14th amendment.

My God, your self-identified judicial champion is Antonin Scalia? Wow. He’s a complete two faced piece of trash on this matter:

Speaking just this February at the Hoover Institution, Scalia argued (approx. 24:20) that the doctrine of “incorporation,” which holds that the Bill of Rights applies to state governments via the Fourteenth Amendment, is a “mistake” and is “probably false.”

Scalia is ideology first, an activist with pretenses of originalism. He only said he was against Plessey because Plessey is infamous, and he’s only for MacDonald because it’s a second amendment issue. However, his dissent in Lawrence v. Texas betrays his mendacity.
