You can’t understand the difference between being the cause of the problem, and being the solution to the problem? As I outlined before, yes it’s the Arab states that created this crisis. Yes, it’s the Arab states that are culpable for continuing the crisis. But NO, the Arab states DO NOT have motivation to resolve the conflict. It is extremely valuable as a political football for the repressive regimes of Egypt et al.

Therefore, if there is to be a solution, it must be Israel that takes the drivers seat, along with the United States. And because it is Israel’s existence that is the most threatened by the long-term continuance of this conflict, I believe it is in her best interest to act. Does that make sense?

you are absolutely right. if the Israelis would just voluntarily solve the arab/Israeli problem by committing national suicide, there would be no more Israeli “problem.” Me thinks your “moral compass” needs calibrating.
