Kentucky politics can be weird since we still have conservative rural democrats who have already decamped to the GOP in most other states. So, for example, Beshear supported tax credits for the “Ark Park.” But he knows that opening the spigot of federal money that’s going to flow in to pay for Obamacare will be an unqualified good for the state.

That is very unusual. Is it known why these conservatives are sticking with the Dems in Kentucky?
