The interesting thing is that there aren’t really significant policy differences between “moderate” Republicans and Tea Partiers. They all want to repeal Obamacare, oppose marriage equality, support slashing government spending even lower, and oppose doing anything about global warming or gun violence. The only significant differences are that Tea Partiers engage in stream of consciousness speaking and don’t worry about alienating people who aren’t white conservative Christians, since they aren’t “real Americans” anyway.

Yeah there was really no difference between Bolling and Cuccinelli ideologically here but the TP loved KC’s fire throwing style. You saw the same thing in that Alabama primary. I will grant you though that Christie did sign that ban on gay conversion therapy though. That’s not a compliment though. Anyone with a functioning brain should be able to veto that.
