So the French are saying it’s okay to kill 3 Jewish teenagers but that Jews aren’t allowed “an eye for an eye?”

“Eye for an eye” is not even allowed in Scripture, the context in which that verse appears is setting limits for tort law: the monetary value of an eye for an eye.
