The new Civil war is already underway and the “Northern” side this time is getting its ass kicked. The past 40 years since the Civil Rights Era has seen the steady “Southernization” of the United States.

Racist, anti-Labor Union, anti-Science, anti-Diplomacy sentiments have evolved from intelligencia-bound outliers like Ayn Rand and Milton Friedman and grown into a popular cancer that has spread nationwide now ingrained in white culture. Fully 75%-85% of white men and more than 55% of white women back Trump and his agenda of White Supremacism. It is this demographic that drags themselves over broken glass and razor wire to get to the voting booths. Meanwhile, the Liberal or minority voting blocs cannot be persuaded to even show up. There is no need for armies and militias when the ballot box can provide all the victories needed for a white Evangelical supremacist government. And this is now what we have.

All of this dithering back and forth over Trump and his constant lies are beside the point. The point is most of the voting population is aligned with Trump no matter what sewage comes out of his mouth or what wretched policies are issued from his desk. As long as white Evangelicals are satisfied with the end results, the means are irrelevant.
