He’s not even on any committee involving foreign policy let alone intelligence. He’s reserves military but a chaplain and I won’t dismiss that position’s importance to the military but this guy would be a bad choice to be on the Intel committee and Trump wants him to be DNI. Trumps cabinet picks get more and more absurd as Trump loyalists dominate the opportunists.
