QL’ed again!

The people at Evident Life Church are seriously hostile. I had one woman tell me, as she was driving out, “Nobody cares, bitch.” Pastor Jose said I was “hateful” several times. I told him I was amused. I also told him that their hostility was worse than Scientology’s. Thinking about it, maybe they’re *tied*. But seriously, the hostility was bad. Other churches have sent people out to talk to me nicely, offer me water, etc.

That said, I did have a nice chat with a guy wearing an El Salvador jacket and a mask (unlike many of the other attendees). This was his first time at the church. He agreed with my revised sign and I warned him that the congregation is all in on Trump conspiracy theories. I pointed him to the church’s YouTube channel so that he wouldn’t think I was talking nonsense. So that was my one good deed of the day.

(The other side said “Pastor Eric Jones: The Constitution TRUMPS your False Prophets!” but you’ve seen that before.)

Next week I’ll make a point of having one sign in español. My Spanish is lousy but it’s good enough to come up with a pithy sentence about how their pastor is a false prophet. Apparently the people think Eric Jones is a prophet of some sort. So yeah, I’m going to amp it up just a tad.
