Everyone: I agree that Christie is far from perfect, and he’s done some stuff that I really dislike, but after the stress of the past couple of years of non-stop hysterical screeching about what a sinister threat Muslims are to America, it’s a HUGE relief to finally see someone on the right stand up and say, “Enough already—this is a bunch of crap!” in defense of a fellow American Muslim who has gotten slimed for no reason except his religion.

That Gov. Christie did so on camera over the course of 4+ minutes means it’s something he can’t walk back later and say he “misspoke” about (like it would be if he’d only said a sentence or two).
